Our Methodology

Evidence-Informed Career Intelligence

Claims grounded in evidence. Enhancements kept defensible. Language easier to own.

This is why your documents are built for more than the first screen.

Why Methodology Matters

Anyone can write compelling bullet points. The question is: Can you defend them under pressure?

Our evidence-informed methodology checks strategic language against four practical ownership tests:

Can you explain it?

You understand the thinking behind every claim.

Can you provide examples?

You have specific stories and evidence ready.

Does it feel comfortable?

You can discuss it without feeling the language overstates your role.

Can you handle stress?

You can defend it even when challenged.

This is the difference between borrowed language and positioning you can explain under pressure.

The Foundation

How We Review Strategic Claims

Our methodology combines source review with ownership-focused writing to create documents you can genuinely own.

Evidence Hierarchy

Strategic language is checked against available evidence, role context, and ownership readiness.

Client Evidence
Source Context

The goal is compelling language that remains traceable and defensible.

Multi-Source Review Stack

We don't rely on a single source when the scope calls for research. Claims are checked against the best available evidence for the target role.

  • O*NET: Federal occupational database for task and skill context
  • BLS OEWS: Bureau of Labor Statistics wage/employment data
  • Lightcast: Commercial labor market intelligence
  • LinkedIn/Indeed: Real-time market signals

Five-Level Enhancement Scale

A calibration system for strategic positioning without crossing into fiction.

Level 1-2: Minimal enhancement
Level 3-4: Strategic clarification when supported
Level 5: Prohibited (fabrication)

The Calibration System

Understanding Enhancement Levels

Not all enhancements are created equal. Here's how we balance strategic clarity with integrity.

1

Level 1: Direct Transcription

Your exact words, minimally formatted. Baseline truth with no strategic positioning.

Example: "Answered customer emails and processed orders"
2

Level 2: Professional Translation

Industry-standard language with basic quantification. Still conservative positioning.

Example: "Managed customer communications and order fulfillment (20+ daily interactions)"
3

Level 3: Strategic Enhancement

OPTIMAL ZONE

Evidence-supported expansion that clarifies true scope and impact.

Example: "Orchestrated customer experience touchpoints across email, chat, and order management systems, maintaining 95% satisfaction rating"

Requires a clear evidence bridge and client ownership.

4

Level 4: Transformative Reframe

OPTIMAL ZONE

Pattern recognition that clarifies broader implications and system-level thinking. Requires strong evidence.

Example: "Designed and implemented customer retention protocol that reduced churn by 23% through proactive engagement strategy"

Requires strong evidence, clear boundaries, and strong ownership transfer.

5

Level 5: Fabrication

PROHIBITED

Claims that cannot be traced back to genuine experience. We never operate at this level.

This zone represents fabrication and is strictly prohibited in our methodology.

Our Boundary: We use the level that the evidence and client ownership can support; fabrication remains prohibited.

Ownership Transfer

The Truth Bridge Protocol

Our five-phase model helps you move from reading the resume to understanding, explaining, and supporting the language.

1

Discovery

Deep investigation into what you actually did, uncovering the complete truth of your experience.

2

Articulation

Translation into strategic professional language that clarifies true scope and impact.

3

Validation

Evidence bridge using authoritative research sources to support defensibility.

4

Integration

Practice and internalization through story development and evidence preparation.

5

Ownership

Genuine understanding and confident defense of supported claims.

Ownership Review Checks

Before strategic language is delivered, we review whether the client can discuss it in a grounded, comfortable, and defensible way:

Explanation Check

You can explain the reasoning behind every claim in your own words.

Example Check

You have specific stories and concrete evidence ready to share.

Comfort Check

You can discuss the claim without feeling like the language overstates your role.

Pressure Check

You can defend this claim confidently even when challenged or skeptical.

Why This Investment Is Worth It

Beyond the First Interview

Other services optimize for ATS and initial screenings. We optimize for the moment when someone looks you in the eye and asks, "Tell me about this project you led."

Confidence Under Pressure

When you genuinely own supported language, your confidence shows. Hiring managers can sense the difference between rehearsed answers and authentic expertise.

Career-Long Value

The ownership transfer process helps you understand and articulate your professional value more clearly.

Defensible By Design

Claims are built to trace back to genuine experience, so you can prepare for background checks, reference calls, and follow-up questions with clearer evidence.

"This is the difference between polished wording and language you can actually own."

Our methodology keeps strategy tied to evidence and ownership.
